  1. Hey are you guys open? Drove down outwater and didn't see you. Are you just taking over taps or sportsmans or are you going to be a new place? I live in heights so I took a ride but didn't see you anywhere. Let me know. Always looking for new craft bars or potential employers.

  2. Hey I work in the area and drove up and down Outwater Lane also. Please let us know what's up, when your opening, etc.

  3. Sorry for taking a bit to get back to you. Yes we're taking over Taps. I believe today we are in the Record with our legal ad that the town makes us do to advertise that we are opening. We should be open the middle of November. I also created a facebook page for Three Wise Monks. When we open I will definitely be posting it here. Thank you everyone for your comments.

    1. No, unfortunately we didn't have the room for it. But we do have great tables in the back now for enjoying food and hanging out with friends as well as a number of board games!

  5. No we're not sorry. We're putting tables and chairs in that area and also a few tv's. It's going to look very nice. We're building a hallway to the bathroom to keep people from going in and out of people sitting. We should be opening shortly we're just finishing the last bit on the legal side. Thanks for the comment hope to see you there.

  7. Been a Taps patron forever. Gonna miss the old, but also looking forward to the new. Good luck guys. I'll be there on opening day. I also love craft beer and have been known to make my own on more than a few occasions.

  15. Congrats on the new place. I found your site via your Groupon offer as I'm sure a lot of people have. I'm a huge craft beer fan and also happen to be a web designer. If you're interested in having a new web site built, I'd be willing to work for beer, well, maybe not just beer, but close. Let me know if I can help.

  19. You guys really need to post your tap list!

  20. Our beer changes constantly so to keep an updated list on this site is not possible. As beer is consumed we replace the kegs ASAP not always with the same beer. Because we are busy serving customers, immediate updates are not possible. We do post on www.beermenus.com.

    1. I hear ya but a general idea of what's on tap would be helpful! Take a look at Coppermine, Taphouse, or Cloverleaf. All have some type of web accessible list.

  23. for the management of this fine establishment, last night i was at the bar and purchased a beer, I put a coaster on it and went to use the restroom when i returned my beer was gone I asked the lovely bartender (you know the guy that little moustache, I think he was wearing a rangers hat) what happened to it. he went on to tell me, in a crude and quite unkind manor, that it was my fault that my beer was cleaned up and last call was 1 minute ago so i could not have another, then he attempted to call me a drunkard when I pressed the issue further. so in short I went to your bar and paid to not drink my beer and be called a drunk by your staff. this by any standard is poor customer service. If this notification is seen I would appreciate a response. thank you.

  27. Went to TWM with a groupon for two flights and a take home growler. We ordered a bunch of food and a couple more beers. Bartender haveus
a two pint carton of beer for the growler.I was f

ully expecting a real glass growler,2 pints does not equal a growler.false advertising on groupon, went home feeling cheated.

Overall beer and food was good but don't sell groupon with a take home growler and instead give a B.S 2 pint carton of beer.

We tried Three Wise Monks with a groupon and a recommendation. We were not disappointed at all. The beer selection is great, if you can't decide, you are offered tastes of the various brews. Barkeep is fully knowledgeable about beer. My husband is the real beer drinker of our house, I went along and overly happy they had cider on tap. We ordered the hummus plate so i could snack while finishing my beer flight, which both were quite good. We'll be back!!

    1. Mary Jane,

Just curious, did you get a real glass growler with your groupon or were you given a lame two pint carton as I was?

FYI to owner-A growler is a half gallon and there are 8 US pints in a US gallon. So there are four US pints in a growler. Besides the fact that we were expecting a real growler and not a carton container.

    2. Fyi there's free dictionary's via web with definitions of words one doesn't know. Here is an example of one

      growl·er [grou-ler] Show IPA
      noun
1.a person or thing that growls.

2.Informal. a pitcher, pail, or other container brought by a customer for beer.
